Lucero's & Sons Restaurant

I’ve been eating Lucero’s and sons for over 25 years now. Both location 52nd & Pecos(north side) and 36th & Fillmore(east side). A perfect hole in the wall spot. They have some of the best green chili in the Denver Metro area. The flavor is ALWAYS consistent. Simmered to perfection with a perfect spicy ratio. I recommend their breakfast burrito(sausage is my favorite). But also try one of the combo burritos. It’s a beef and bean with chili and cheese(handheld). I promise you can’t go wrong with anything you order. Such as the nutty burger or their fried tacos. I live over 20 miles of both locations but make the trip at least once a week. Try them and you won’t be disappointed Great prices and AMAZING food

Love their food!! I’ve been a customer since day 1. Their smothered burritos are the best and the breakfast burritos are so so good! I love all their food. If you haven’t tried them you should. You are missing out.

First time in here on a friend’s recommendation. Their green chili is absolutely delicious and would highly recommend for everyone! The Mexican hamburger with potatoes, cheese, and green chili filled me up to the brim!

Love this place! Started coming here probably 15 years ago with my dad. Over the last decade I have ate here very religiously. The crew, badass. The food, Hell yeah. Green chili, hands down the best green chili in Colorado. See you again next weekend!

The absolute best breakfast burrito I've had. Their green chili is so authentic. In and out within minutes and customer service was great!

Have been going since a child. Always good then. Still fabulous 40 some years later! My mom use to work at Keebler and always take us there. Great memories! So glad it has stayed the same. So much has changed. Hope the journey treating everyone well. Peace!

It used to be affordable but it is still delicious. But let me warn you. This is definitely a hole in the wall. When you walk in the carpet is disgusting. The tables and chairs are old as can be. It’s very outdated. It needs to be updated. But don’t let that stop you from eating the food because it’s delicious and affordable. Just keep your eyes on the menu. The nutty burger is my favorite because it’s a hamburger smothered with fried potatoes and green chili.

Lucero’s was awesome! Everyone who worked there was very kind. I got the combination plate which was a taco, tostada and burrito that were smothered in green chile for only 12!! Green chile was amazing and the rest of the food was phenomenal as well.
